This Tie Guanyin is a superb version of China's most famous oolong tea. The tea leaves are carefully hand-picked from tea bushes grown at high altitude in the interior of Anxi, a clean and scenic environment where only the finest leaves are selected for this quality production. The tea is lightly oxidised and gently roasted to retain the clear, pure aromas that characterise this exclusive variety.
With its high-altitude cultivation in Anxi and the great craftsmanship behind its production, this Tie Guanyin offers a fine balance of light, fresh green notes, a subtle floral flavour and a smooth, long and clean aftertaste that lingers on the tongue. This elegant and refined flavour profile makes this tea a true delight for tea lovers.
The tea is grown on a farm that practices sustainable agriculture, without the use of pesticides or artificial fertilisers, ensuring a pure and natural taste. Harvested in autumn 2023, the tea is made by cultivator Tie Guanyin, who also goes by other names such as Iron Goddess of Mercy, Ti Kuan Yin and Tie Guan Yin. Origin: Anxi, Fujian, China.
