Indian tea

India is the world's largest producer of black teas. Indian tea has its origins in a tradition of strong black teas that can also be drunk with milk and Indian spices. In the regions of Assam and the southern Nilgiri mountains, we are in contact with skilled tea makers on farms who create teas with a more classic black character, but with unique nuances. Meanwhile, among Indian teas, we find something reminiscent of the opposite - the unique teas that have long been famous for their subtle, elegant nuances - the Darjeeling teas. Darjeeling tea, grown on the high hillsides of the Darjeeling region in northwest India, is known for its elegant and subtle flavour profile. Often referred to as the 'champagne of teas', Darjeeling tea offers a light, golden colour and a flavour reminiscent of muscatel wine. The flavour is floral and fruity, making the tea particularly appreciated by those who prefer a more delicate drink. Each season gives Darjeeling tea a unique character, from the fresh first flush to the richer, blacker summer and autumn harvests.

With us you can buy organic black tea online or in our physical store in Stockholm. We are also wholesalers and supply tea to restaurants and retailers. Black tea is ideal for kombucha as our teas are both organic and of very high quality. If you prepare our teas in a bag (disposable filter), it is important that the bag is large enough so that the leaves can unfold properly. Tea has a high amount of antioxidants and is well known to be beneficial and healthy.
