When most of today's Earl Grey is made with low-quality black tea and flavoured with synthetic flavourings, we've uncompromisingly created an Earl Grey where the raw materials take centre stage. Our Earl Grey Four Seasons is a carefully crafted blend. This unique blend uses rich high-altitude teas from Yunnan, Nepal and Darjeeling, all of which contribute their distinctive characteristics and flavours. The Darjeeling tea is a fresh first flush, providing a bright and lively base that balances the other teas in this exquisite blend. This type of tea, harvested early in the season, has a bright and floral character that really brings out the subtle flavours of the tea. In contrast, the other teas, selected from summer, autumn and winter harvests, bring their own unique nuances. These full-bodied teas have a deeper and more robust flavour profile that complements the lighter tone of Darjeeling, creating a harmonious and well-defined taste experience. In our quest to preserve quality and authenticity, we do not use synthetic flavourings, relying instead on natural ingredients and traditional methods to infuse the citrus notes of bergamot. This genuine bergamot, which comes from the Calabrian region of Italy, gives a fresh and aromatic character that lifts the whole blend.
