An organic Darjeeling Autumn Flush from Samabeong, one of Darjeeling's highest tea estates, with plantations at over 2000 metres above sea level. The farm is secluded in the north-eastern part of Darjeeling, in the Kalimpong district, and benefits from the area's mild and humid microclimate. Autumn Flush teas are usually harvested during October and November, and are the favourite of many local tea connoisseurs. Darjeelings is famous for its complex aromas and nuanced flavours. Samabeong Estate was founded in the Kalimpong region in 1882 and has been growing organic tea for many years. The light copper-coloured infusion has a rich, clear and slightly fruity taste with notes of hazelnuts, caramel bread crust and black currants.
