Samabeong Spring Blossom is an exquisite First Flush Darjeeling from Samabeong, one of Darjeeling's highest tea gardens, with plantations over 2000 meters above sea level. The farm is secluded in the northeastern part of Darjeeling, in the Kalimpong district and benefits from the area's mild and humid microclimate. This exceptional tea consists of an exclusive pick that is harvested by hand in early spring from shrubs that grow at the highest height of the farm, 2000 meters above sea level. The beautiful, whole leaves show a beautiful greenery and a large proportion of buds, and the tea is only slightly oxidized. For a first flush darjeeling, the first step in the manufacture - the withering - is very long, and it is this step which, in combination with the temperature at the withering, results in the light, green character that characterizes these teas. Samabeong Spring Blossom has a light, clean and very soft taste and a light florality paired with clear tones of passion fruit.
